Policy for used prebuilt iPods: - iPods are covered 90 days from original purchase date NOT delivery date. All iPod's serial numbers have also been logged for the same reason. Parts installed by our technicians have been marked/logged to maintain the integrity of the warranty. iPods sent back for warranty claim will be meticulously inspected, tested, and opened for signs of 3rd party tampering/maintenance & physical or liquid damage. Policy for brand new replacement parts: - Brand new replacement parts for iPods are covered 90 days from original purchase date NOT delivery date. Policy for refurbished new battery prebuilt iPods: - iPods are covered 180 days from original purchase date NOT delivery date. iPods are covered 1 year from original purchase date NOT delivery date. However, improperly disassembling/reassembling the iPod will void the warranty. Simply the act of disassembling/reassembling the iPod does not void the warranty. The installation is done at your own risk, if you end up bricking the board during the process - that isn't covered under warranty.įor any iPod sent back for warranty service, RockBox must be uninstalled before returning the iPod. Same situation with RockBox, simply installing RockBox does not void the warranty.
